Chris Di Redo, Physical Therapist
A lifelong Valley native, Chris was born and raised in Fresno. He attended Fresno State for all of his undergraduate and graduate education.
He began the Physical Therapy Program in the fall of 2001 and graduated with his Master's in Physical Therapy in the Spring of 2004. An internship that following summer brought Chris out to Merced area.
Living in Madera at the time, the expected growth anticipated for the Merced area was appealing to him, and the drive wasn’t too bad. Fast forward to the current day, Chris commutes to and from his home in Fresno.
Maintaining a welcoming environment where people can feel at ease knowing their concerns will be prioritized and heard is a top priority at Park Avenue Physical Therapy, Inc. While many people enter the door as patients, they leave as friends.
Kody Runyan, Physical Therapist Assistant
Kody Runyan, PTA, B.A. is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from Turlock, CA. Kody completed his undergraduate program in 2017 from CSU Stanislaus and continued to obtain his PTA license in 2019 from Carrington College.
He was first introduced to physical therapy after he sustained multiple injuries playing high school sports. Kody believes these injuries were a blessing in disguise because they sparked his interest in the medical field.
After high school, he obtained an Associate of Science in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine and an Associate of Arts in Physical Education at Modesto Junior College.
During this time, he met his now wife Ashlee, and they both worked as physical therapy aides for many years.
While working as a physical therapy aide, Kody went on to further his education by achieving his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Promotion from California State University Stanislaus.
After he graduated, he decided to continue his education and pursue his goal of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. Kody graduated from Carrington College in Pleasant Hill and received his PTA.
